This 10×10×4 cm cube-shaped work is covered in Ryusui-mon texture, suggesting a quiet, flowing presence.
A layer of gold over rose red creates shifting reflections—at times luminous, at others shadowed—depending on the viewer’s angle.
The piece carries a baroque ornamentality, yet gestures toward a hidden depth beneath the surface.
Titled Baroque Sea, the work takes distant inspiration from the Dirac sea of quantum theory—
where absence implies presence, and unseen voids shimmer just beneath a surface of radiant light.

10×10×4cmのキューブ状の作品。全体に施された流水紋のテクスチャーが、水の流れの気配を静かに湛える。
ベースのローズレッドの上に重ねたゴールドが、角度によって色の印象を変化させ、光の中に揺らめくように現れる。
その装飾的なきらめきと、奥行きのある色彩の層が、見えない“深さ”を感じさせる。
タイトルの《バロックの海》は、物理理論における“ディラックの海”を遠い着想源とし、
現実の底に潜む空洞や空白、見えないものの存在を、優雅な光の装いの中に沈めた作品である。
