A cube-shaped canvas, its surface textured like a spiral of ripples.
One edge holds red, the opposite blue.
Between them, yellow emerges—not as a blend, but as a transformation.

Red and blue would typically produce purple. Yet here, they resist that outcome.
Instead, something inexplicable happens—a shift governed by a logic that does not belong to this world.
Yellow appears as a symbol of that other order—a glimpse into a system of meaning beyond our comprehension.

This work resides at a point of convergence between the ephemeral light of Impressionism and the material intensity of Abstract Expressionism.
Color is not merely seen, but experienced as presence—as vibration, tension, and release.

The palette draws subtle inspiration from the mystical imagery of William Blake, an English poet-painter whose works dissolved the boundary between vision and symbolism.
In this painting, color itself becomes a fable—one that speaks not of logic, but of transformation and the turning of hues.


色の寓話　反転する色
キューブ状の画面に、渦を巻くような波紋のテクスチャー。
一方にはレッド、反対側にはブルー。
その狭間に現れるのは、混合ではなく、「変容」としてのイエロー。

レッドとブルーは通常なら紫を生む。しかしこの絵では、そうはならない。
ここで起こるのは、この世界とは異なる論理に従った、得体の知れない変化である。
イエローは、その“別の秩序”の象徴として現れる。私たちには計り知れない意味体系が、ふと姿を見せる瞬間だ。

この作品は、印象派が追い求めた儚い光の感覚と、抽象表現主義の物質的な色彩の強度、その交差点に立っている。
色は見るものではなく、“ある”ものとして、振動し、緊張し、そして解き放たれる。

色の選びには、幻想と象徴を行き来したイギリスの詩人・画家ウィリアム・ブレイクの神秘的な世界観も反映されている。
