境界に宿る　Inhabiting the Boundary

There is a saying that “the divine dwells in the details.”
But I believe it is in the boundary where something truly takes shape.
Two lights approach and recede,
until eventually, they quietly blend into one another.
Gold and silver, blessing and stillness, day and night—
No presence, no tension.
They simply coexist, unnoticed, and in doing so, become whole.

The thickly layered ryūsui-mon pattern gently scoops up their shimmering light,
letting it ripple and flicker.
A boundary is not merely a dividing line.
It is a site where something may emerge,
and equally, where nothing may happen at all.

「細部に宿る」という言葉がある。
だが私は、境界にこそ、何かが宿っていると感じている。
ふたつの光が、寄せては引き、やがて静かに混じり合う。
金と銀、祝と鎮、昼と夜──
気配がない。
静かに、気づかれないまま、2つが隣り合って完成している。

厚みのある流水紋が、その光をそっとすくい取り、揺らぐ。
境界はただの線ではなく、
何かが立ち現れる“場”であり、同時に、何も起こらない場でもあるのだ。
