The red that spreads across this circular canvas evokes not only the moon glowing in the night sky, but also an inner heat quietly pulsing beneath the surface.
Its gentle, wave-like texture—resembling Komon (small ripple patterns)—suggests the slow movement of flowing water through time.
Here and there, silver paint flickers in and out of view like glimmers on a river’s surface or fragments of fading memory.

The round shape of the canvas, along with the soft arcs of the texture, recalls the image of the moon slowly rotating on its tilted axis.
A slightly slanted yellow line cuts through the center—carved with a gouge to reveal the underlying layer of the work.
It resembles the stem of a plant swaying on a river at dusk, or perhaps the earthly axis of this red moon.

Light and shadow, movement and stillness.
This painting captures the quiet breath of a “red moon” that rotates gently through time, anchored by a subtle yet steady center.

円形の画面に広がる赤は、夜を照らす月のようでもあり、内に秘めた熱のようでもある。
小波紋のように穏やかに重ねられたテクスチャーは、時の流れとともに揺れる水面を思わせる。
ところどころに現れるシルバーの絵具は、静かな川面に差す光や、記憶の断片のように現れては消える。

この円形の画面と、緩やかに弧を描くテクスチャーは、地軸を傾けながら静かに自転する月の姿を思わせる。
画面中央をやや傾いて走る黄色いラインは、彫刻刀で削り出された下地の色。
それは、黄昏時の川面に揺れる植物の茎のようであり、赤い月の地軸を象るかのような線でもある。

光と影、流れと静けさ。
この作品は、時間のなかで揺れながらも、確かな中心を持った「赤い月」の静かな呼吸を描いている。
