A moon floats on the surface of the water—
half in shadow, half submerged.
Or perhaps, it is the view from beneath, looking up at the water’s surface.
Its glow passes through, shimmering in golden light.

I’ve always been more drawn to the moon than the sun.
The moon constantly changes, waxing and waning, disappearing only to return again.
To me, a full moon feels like a hole torn open in the night sky.

This work was inspired by the song Fly Me to the Moon.
The title comes from a long-held mishearing of the lyric “in other words” as “in other world.”
A half-moon from another world.


水面に浮かぶ月。半分陰り水の中。或いは中から水面を仰ぎ見るように。輝きは透過する金色。

太陽よりも月が気になる。
月は満ち欠けを繰り返し姿を変え、消えてはまた現れる。
満月は夜空に開いた穴だと思う。
楽曲「FLY ME TO THE MOON」からインスピレーションを得て制作。
タイトルは、“in other words(言い換えるとね...)”という歌詞を“in other world(別世界)” に聞き間違えていた事から。
別世界の半月。
